its been a hot minute so let me get you up to speed. economy is sucking hard like a hooker vacuum so i had to turn off the internet on my cell phone. i didn't have to but its not a necessity. there is something going around called the recessionnecessities {one word} and they are as followed: tobacco, alcohol, and a lucky rabbits foot. a blackberry data plan is not on that list so it had to be cut like a dead appendage. ill look for an image just for visual stimulation.

January 09 Surf Expo

I know a lot of people are over going to trade shows but I love every minute of it. This go around was pretty slow and the Shot Show (gun/ red neck) was right across the street so I had to see if they had any all gold guns from Iraq. No gold guns but they did have about everything else. At Surf Expo they have free stickers here and there but at the Shot Show they had free clips and silencers! Haha, no just kidding. But I did get an American Bald Eagle Ensure your gun rights button that is pretty rad and a American flag sticker that says "Ruger Pride." Never in my life have I felt so much like a gun nut.

The Gulf Coast sucks! I saw 3 different surf reports saying 3 differnt things. One said chest high, one said 5-7 feet, and the most accurate one said shin high. What an upset. Well my cousin and I decided to hit the links and shag some golf balls. We checked out a new course that we have never been to see how we liked it and on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being really good this course gets a -7. They did not even have golf carts. West Palm weekend

Since I was laid off and no one is hiring I have had all this time to do what ever. I felt like catching some waves so I thought going going to West Palm beach would be fun.

Half way there... Busted. 70mph in a 55mph zone was a good way to land a $200 dollar ticket. Sonofabitch. --hey if my car had cruise control it would have never happened-- well it probably still would have.

I got to West Palm around 12 at night to find out the college campus my friend stays at is a "dry campus". No alcohol. Buhh how lame is that.

7am the next day I enjoy the beautiful view of the grave yard and got ready to surf with the sharks.

Saturday was pretty good, chest high swells at the Lakeworth pier made it worth it and then back to school to break some rules. Had a few drinks at Flag Pole and then went back and watched a documentary on 2 Pac.

Sunday would have been good but there were sharks trying to get an early lunch. Waiting for a wave and seeing a 5 foot shadow swim under you is a little freaky to say the least. Then to hear fishermen yell "there are sharks in the water!" I was sold. I didn't need to surf that bad. And I was out.
